Outdoor Power Equipment and Machinery Sales Representative 

Department: Sales

Reports to: Store and Sales Manager

Purpose: Sells new and used agricultural and turf equipment to new and existing customers

Responsibilities:

- Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers

- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership 

- Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly

- Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales

- Knows and follows a defined sales process

- Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events

- Conducts new equipment demonstrations

- Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management

- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods

- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars

- May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability for trading purposes

Requirements:

- 1+ years of equipment sales experience

- Knowledge of outdoor power equipment, ride on/standing mowers, two cycle -Bilingual (PREFERRED)

- Minimum GED or high school equivalent (AA degree or higher PREFERRED)

- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions

- Excellent customer relationship skills -Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports

Pay: hourly + uncapped commission

Service Advisor

Responsibilities:

- Serve as a customer relationship manager, responsible for communicating respectfully and appropriately at all times to customers

 - Interact with customers, provide timely responses, manage complaints appropriately, record customer detail and transactions

- Schedule appointments, monitor service process, take orders, calculate charges, and process payments

Requirements:

- Computer experience

- Minimum GED or high school equivalent (AA degree or higher PREFERRED)

- Interested in individuals who are quick learners and excel in fast-paced environments

Pay: 40+ hours with overtime available during peak season

Truck Driver

Purpose: Operates vehicles to transport equipment for dealership. May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

- Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick-up new equipment

- Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed

- Maintains activity records and obtains necessary signatures and receipts

- Maintains al required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy

- Accountable for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties

- May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required

- May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge 

- Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities

- Loading and unloading equipment as needed

- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion

- Follows al safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments

- Maintains knowledge of current outdoor power equipment and machinery products as wall as competitive products

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: 

- 1+ year of experience pulling a gooseneck, tilt, or utility trailer; experience as a semi-truck operator preferred

- Experience with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment

- Experience working cooperatively in a team environment

- Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required

- Valid driver's license required; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred

- Forklifting license

- Must have a CLEAN driving record
